We are writing to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to the pricing of our eisy product line, effective March 12, 2026.

Due to a significant and ongoing shortage in global DDR5 memory and storage components, we have been faced with a substantial increase in our production costs. This shortage is not isolated to our supply chain: industry-wide data shows that DDR5 memory pricing has surged up to 440% since mid-2025. Leading market analysts project that these conditions will persist through at least late 2027.

Despite these extreme market pressures, we have worked diligently to absorb as much of this cost as possible internally. The adjustment below represents only a fraction of the increases we have faced at the component level.

Effective March 12, 2026, eisy pricing will be updated as follows:

• eisy r2 Previous Price: $399 → New Price: $490
• eisy r2 | openADR Previous Price: $592 → New Price: $680
• eisy r2 + Installation Support Previous Price: $536 → New Price: $620

Orders placed and invoiced prior to March 12, 2026, or until current inventory is exhausted, will be honored at current pricing.

We are also committed to passing savings directly back to our customers when global DDR5 memory prices normalize. When market conditions improve, eisy pricing will be reduced accordingly.

We understand that cost increases are never welcome news, and we want to be transparent about the circumstances driving this change, as well as the steps we are taking to provide more options going forward. Please know that we remain fully committed to delivering the same level of quality, reliability, and support that you have come to expect from Universal Devices.
